Gun violence is the leading cause of death of children and teens in the U.S.

(Source Everytown)

Since 2019, I’ve been sending postcards to advocate for gun control. The postcards are available to gallery visitors, as part of art installations, and also on demand here. The front of the postcard shows “Mommy, what is this?” (2018), which is a photograph of the hand of my son making the peace sign while also holding a toy bullet. The back of the postcard contains a short letter intended for elected officials, “No more children should die from gun violence. I support gun control.”

To date, I’ve mailed more than 1,000 postcards.

My goal is to reach 5,000 and you can help! Buy a postcard here. I’ll fill it out on your behalf and mail it directly to the elected official of your choice. If you would like to buy several postcards to share with your family or fiends, please contact me.
