Flying Lola, 2013

Flying lola

Lola was the happiest of dogs, but she was also a little bold for her size. As the baby she was, she joined our family when Rocco and Nina were a couple years older, my husband used to throw her in the air as you usually do with babies. She loved it. She kept jumping when he stopped. I wanted to take a portrait of her that captured her true bold and happy spirit. That day there we no clouds in the sky, the blue of the sky looked just like a background. I asked my husband to lay down in the grass and I lay down beside them. With the camera in an angle I was able to capture the house in the back, making it look like she was flying high.
