Creative Photography: From imagination to reality

I have taught this workshop several times and it’s one of my favorite things to do, because I get to share how I do what I do!. It can be a 1 session or a 2 sessions workshop, depending on the time available.

In the first session we start by discussing ideas around creativity and the importance of creating images that come from our core. We review artists that stage their own photographs and we talk about how they do it. I also explain my “how to” and the things that work for me. The goal of this session is to set the basics of staged photography, so participants learn about this type of practice.

For the second session, participants had the homework of creating staged images, based on an idea of their choice. We come back for the second session to review the work done, provide feedback and talk about the creative process everyone went in!  The second session is an excellent opportunity to get participants started in the art of staged photography, as completing the “homework” requires to actually practice the learned concepts.

Sounds like fun, right?

The audience of this workshop is young artists (kids ages 10+), emerging artists as well as established artists trying to rock their practice, I have taught this workshop to several audiences and everyone enjoys it equally. It can be part of a ongoing course offering or a one time thing for a particular group. If you are interested in this workshop, please send all inquires right here ->
